School Run will simplify the administration of your school and the
sophisticated reporting will reduce your accountancy costs.
What is School Run? School Run is a software application developed by language schools for the management of language schools. It is designed to help you, the school owner/operator to control courses, teachers, timetables, book inventory and invoicing, School Run is not a modular system. When you install the basic version of School Run all functionality is immediately available to you and you can pick and choose which functions to use. All data can be easily exported to Microsoft Office applications for further analysis, mail merges for marketing, preparation of year end accounts etc. How does School Run work? School Run is a relational database. It holds information about your clients, teachers , courses and translations. The School Run package comes complete with all of the database run time components you need and no other software is required. School Run will work with all lanaguages and all currencies. Although the screens and help files are in English all text for client documentation is entered by you in your local language. Can I connect School Run to my invoicing system? School Run is designed as an integrated system and has an invoicing suite for courses, books and translations. The system will ask you if you want to invoice clients at the end of each course set up. If you prefer to continue with your existing accounts package answer no at the prompt. Not using the School Run invoicing package will not effect the functionality of procedures that are not part of the invoicing routine. We do not offer a package to link School Run to other accounts packages. School Run will produce financial data in Microsoft Excel format and most PC accounts packages will accept imports of data in this format. Check software documentation for your accounts package to clarify this point. Is School Run easy to use? Any user of windows will feel comfortable with School Run. For new computer users there is comprehensive user documentation and a complete on line help faclity. Reports and help files are in English. The first time you open School Run you will be prompted to enter your sales tax status, the local tax rates for tuition, translation and books and the language you want to appear on your invoices, statements, credit notes and other Client documentation. Why can't I get School Run as a download? The installation package comes complete with everything required to operate a relational database and a spread sheet. When you install School Run for the first time the programme will check your system to see which components you need. Typically the installation is about 8mb but the complete installation disk, which includes run time components for the relational database and Microsoft Excel is much bigger. Even with a broad band connection this is a big package. How much does School Run cost? School Run costs euros 480 including 20% IVA (sales tax) applicable in Italy but we currently have a special offer.
